BAKE IT: Chocolate Popovers


These taste bud pleasing treats are great for brunches and breakfasts. They are perfect when served alongside honey or Nutella. For a fancy Valentine's Day presentation serve them on a plate garnished with shaved chocolate, strawberries, and whipped cream.

Full time 60-70 minutes
Makes 6 popovers

The needs-

3 eggs
1 cup flour, leveled
1 cup milk
2 tbsp unsweetened chocolate, finely shaved
1 tbsp unsweetened coco powder
1 tbsp butter, melted
1/4 tsp salt

The know-

Preheat oven to 375' and heavily grease 6 popover cups or a popover pan.

In a mixing bowl whisk together eggs, milk, and butter.


Add in flour, coco powder, and salt, whisking until smooth.


Fold in chocolate shavings.



Divide batter evenly into prepared popover cups/pan.


Bake in oven 40-50 minutes or until puffed and crispy onto.


Remove from oven and serve immedietly. For a great sweet flavor, drizzle with honey.
