Japanese Cucumber Salad

Cool and crisp, this salad is the perfect accompaniment to any meal. Subtle soy and sesame notes fill bring this easy to make salad to life.

Full time 30 minutes (includes resting time)
Serves 4-6 

The needs-

2 large cucumbers, slice thin (as thin as you can)
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sesame oil

The know-

Place cucumbers into a large mixing bowl.

Add vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and oil. Toss cucumbers to evenly distribute sugar and salt.

Add in sesame seeds and toss to evenly distribute. 

Let rest at room temperature for 20 minutes before serving.

Toss cucumbers one last time and move to serving bowl.
