German Pickle Dip
German pickle dip is a great party dip. This classic dip has a smooth and velvety texture with a tart and tangy flavor. Serve alongside chips, crackers, or vegetables.
Makes 2 cups dip
Full time 12 hours (prepared in 15 minutes, develops full flavor overnight but can be served in 2 hours)
You will need:
2 Dill pickle spears or 1 small whole Dill pickle
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp dried minced onion
3 tsp pickle juice
1 tsp Worcester sauce
Let us begin:
In a small bowl place minced onion and add in pickle juice, let sit for 2-3 minutes.
Add in Worcester sauce and set aside.
In a medium bowl place cream cheese, stir it vigorously until smooth and creamy.
Mix in the sour cream and stir it completely to incorporate, set aside.
Slice pickle spears length wise and dice into smallish pieces.
Mix onion mixture into the cream cheese mixture and stir well to fully incorporate.
Fold in pickles.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight (or for minimum 2 hours). Cheers!
