BAKE IT: Knot Sandwich Rolls (from homemade refrigerator dough)

What sandwich isn't better on a fresh bakery roll? Here is a great way to make those light and air rolls in your own home.  The best part is you can make these for weekend lunchtime in under no time!

Full time 40 minutes
Makes 6 rolls

You will need:

1 portion homemade refrigerator dough
1 egg
1 tbsp water
1/4 cup flour

Let us begin:

Preheat oven to 400'.

Pour flour onto flat surface, roll your portion of dough into a long tube.

Use a sharp serrated knife to cut it into 6 equal pieces.

Roll each piece into a tube roughly 7-8" long.

Shape into roll by forming a circle and pulling one end through the center.

Lay rolls onto a baking sheet, cover with kitchen towel and let rise 30 minutes ontop of oven.

Once risen wisk together egg and water.
Brush tops with mixture, you will not use all of it. If desired sprinkle on poppy seeds or sesame seeds.

Lower heat to 350. Bake in oven 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve and enjoy!
