I love pork tenderloin for weeknight dinners, with little to no fuss you can have a simply fantastic meal. Here is a great basic tenderloin recipe which is sure to please.
Full time: 40-50 minutes
You will need:
2 pork tenderloins (approximately 3lbs total)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Let us begin:
Preheat oven to 375'.
Pat tenderloins lightly to remove excess moisture.
Season evenly with salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper.
In a heavy bottom skillet or cast iron pan, melt butter over medium-high heat.
Add tenderloins into pan and sear off all sides, this takes roughly 8-10 minutes or 2-3 minutes per side. Make sure to rotate to evenly sear.
Once seared off, sprinkle brown sugar across top evenly.
Carefully move pan to the oven and let cook 20-30 minutes or until it reaches 165' internal temperature.
Remove from oven, remove from pan, and let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Serve and enjoy!
