Baked Cheddar Chicken

We eat a lot of chicken in my household and sometimes, it gets a little boring. One night I was trying to decided what to do to jazz up the chicken a little bit and I came up with this one. I looked through the refrigerator, panrty, and pulled together a few great falvors to make one great tasting dish. Sometimes, this is the best way to create and try a new thing.

Serves 4-6
Full time: 1 1/2 hours

You will need:

8-10 chicken thighs, skinless
1 package butter crackers (I reccomend Toll house club crackers)
1 stick butter, melted
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar
2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground white pepper (or black)
1 tsp salt

Let us begin:

Preheat oven to 350

Place crackers in a plastic ziptop bag.

Crush up the crackers until they are slightly larger than a bread crumb.

In a large bowl mix parsley, garlic, salt and pepper.

Mix in the cheddar cheese and the cracker crumbs.

Dip you chicken into the melted butter.

Take the butter coated chicken and dip it into the cheddar/cracker mixture.

Place coated chicken into a baking dish and continue with all remaining pieces.

Bake chicken for 1 hour until its internal tempurature reaches 180 degrees.

Serve and enjoy!
