Classic Glazed Carrots

Glazed carrots are a classic side dish and it easily pairs well with any main course. They are quite simple to make and cook up in under 20 minutes. They are also a huge hit with children, the nice sweet glaze helps these dissapear off the plate quickly.

Serves 4
Full time: 20-30 minutes

You will need:

1 small bag baby carrots
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Let us begin:

Bring a saute pan to a medium high heat.

Toss in carrots and stir around for a second or two

Add in butter and brown sugar, let it melt together

Roll carrots around to fully coat

Lower heat to simmer, cover and cook for 15 minutes or undtil tender
